DocMJ serves adults in Lubbock, Texas who want to understand whether they may qualify for medical cannabis through a legal, physician-led process. Patients can schedule a private telemedicine appointment, discuss their health history with a qualified doctor, and ask questions about the Texas Compassionate Use Program.
Texas does not issue the physical medical marijuana card used in many other states. If a qualified physician determines that a patient meets the program requirements, the physician enters the patient and prescription information into the Compassionate Use Registry of Texas, commonly called CURT. Patients do not complete their own state registration or pay a separate state registration fee.
DocMJ’s Lubbock service is provided through telemedicine, so patients do not need to travel to the Houston contact location for a routine virtual evaluation. The process gives new and existing patients a clear way to discuss eligibility, medical records, costs, prescription access, and follow-up care.
