Important Texas Compassionate Use Program Information

Texas Uses Prescriptions, Not Patient Cards

Patients do not receive a physical card or complete their own CURT registration. A CUP-registered physician enters the patient’s information and low-THC cannabis prescription into CURT. Texas does not charge patients a separate state registration fee.

Dispensing Organizations Verify Patients Through CURT

After the prescription is entered, the patient or legal guardian can contact a licensed Texas dispensing organization. The organization may request identification, the patient’s last name, date of birth, and the last five digits of the patient’s Social Security number to locate the prescription.

DocMJ Is a Medical Evaluation Provider
